Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Lead
Salesforce DevOps Engineer to support and scale our Salesforce delivery
platform. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and
governing CI/CD pipelines, DevOps processes, and release management practices
across Salesforce environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on
experience with Azure DevOps, Salesforce DevOps tools (preferably AutoRABIT),
and exposure to MuleSoft deployment automation and secure secrets management.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage Salesforce CI/CD
pipelines leveraging Azure DevOps and Salesforce DevOps tools such as
AutoRABIT.
- Own and support end-to-end Salesforce release
management, including metadata deployment, validation, rollback
strategies, and environment coordination.
- Automate Salesforce deployment and governance
processes to improve reliability, speed, and compliance.
- Support MuleSoft application deployments through
Azure DevOps pipelines, including build, deployment, and environment
promotion.
- Integrate pipelines with Vault or similar secrets
management solutions to securely manage credentials and sensitive
configuration data.
- Collaborate closely with Salesforce and MuleSoft
developers, QA, and environment owners to ensure smooth delivery across
Dev, QA, UAT, and Production environments.
- Enforce DevOps best practices, branching
strategies, and deployment standards to minimize delivery risk.
- Monitor deployment health, troubleshoot pipeline
or environment-related issues, and provide timely resolution.
- Ensure adherence to security, audit, and
organizational compliance requirements.
- Continuously evaluate and improve DevOps
processes using industry best practices and emerging tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce DevOps
and release management.
- Proven experience using AutoRABIT (or similar
Salesforce DevOps tools) for deployment, branching, and governance.
- Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines
using Azure DevOps.
- Solid understanding of Salesforce metadata,
deployment dependencies, and release challenges.
- Experience supporting MuleSoft deployments using
Azure DevOps pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with secrets management tools
(e.g., Vault) and secure pipeline integrations.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g.,
PowerShell, Bash) and version control systems (Git).
- Strong troubleshooting skills with attention to
detail and delivery quality.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills,
with the ability to work independently and across teams.
Nice to Have (Additional Skills)
- MuleSoft Anypoint Platform exposure (CloudHub,
Runtime Manager).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as
Azure and/or AWS.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.
- Exposure to monitoring and logging tools (e.g.,
Azure Monitor, Log Analytics).
