We're a NYC, India, and Philippines based crew, working with over 600 students. We have bootstrapped (no investors, no debt) our way to $40+ million in annual revenue - and we're just getting started. Next stop? Hitting $100 million.
We give students the tools and freedom to build their entrepreneurial skills from the ground up. That means our tech needs to keep up, and we’re looking for Product Designers ready to jump in and drive substantial growth.
Why This Role?
We're investing heavily in building the tech we need to grow from $40 mill to $100 mill in three years. That investment starts with bulking up our Product team.
This role is for the bold—designers who go beyond “nice” screens to craft experiences that solve real problems and drive lasting impact. You’ll head up our UX/UI team, dive deep into the product, and collaborate across Growth, Product, and Engineering to make Fresh Prints’ tech seamless, loved, and a success. What You’ll Do:
- Lead with Purpose: Guide and grow a team of UX/UI designers, helping them stretch their creative muscles and make a difference.
- Shape the Vision: Align design strategies with business goals and get everyone on board with Fresh Prints’ mission.
- Hands-On Design: Roll up your sleeves, tackle wireframes, iterate on prototypes, and take concepts to final, polished screens.
- Back Your Designs with Data: Run user research, A/B tests, and dive into analytics to make sure every choice is user-centered and conversion-focused.
- Team up with Power: Work side-by-side with Product Managers, Engineers, and the Growth team to craft end-to-end user flows that make things easier, faster, and (honestly) cooler for our users.
- Build & Scale: Streamline design processes, strengthen the team, and lay the groundwork for the future of our product design.
- Optimize & Iterate: It’s not done until it’s the best. Own the process of enhancing our current product while always hunting for new ways to push things forward.
You’re the Right Fit If You:
- Have 4+ Years in Product Design: You’re not new to this. You’ve seen what works, what doesn’t, and have a track record to prove it.
- Know How to Lead: You’re ready to manage a team and know how to bring out the best in your designers.
- Live & Breathe Designing: High proficiency in Figma and other design tools is a must. You’re also savvy with prototyping tools and maybe even a bit of motion.
- Invest in Data & Research: You don’t just make things look good – you make choices based on data and research, knowing they’ll drive results.
- Are Obsessed with Details: The smallest elements matter to you because you know they make all the difference.
- Are a Natural Storyteller: You can communicate the “why” behind your designs in a way that makes everyone else just as excited.
- Love the Hustle: You’re a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is up for the challenges that come with growth.
