Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Acting lead or lead Engineer to lead the design and technical direction of our SaaS-based, cloud-native, and REST-driven platforms. In this role, you will guide engineering teams, influence architectural decisions, and collaborate closely with product, design, and customer stakeholders to build secure, scalable, and high-performance systems. You will be responsible for defining technical standards, shaping architectural blueprints, and ensuring the successful implementation of complex distributed systems. This role requires strong technical depth, excellent communication, and the ability to balance long-term strategic thinking with hands-on problem solving.
Key Responsibilities :
- Define and guide the architectural vision for cloud-native, SaaS, and REST-based applications.
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to design scalable, distributed systems.
- Translate business and customer requirements into robust technical designs and architecture specifications.
- Provide architectural leadership to backend and frontend teams operating across multiple time zones.
- Coach, mentor, and support engineering teams, including involvement in onboarding, performance discussions, and career development.
- Contribute to planning and drive technical delivery aligned with product and project goals.
- Participate actively in agile processes and ensure strong execution across multiple simultaneous projects.
- Make informed technical trade-off decisions while balancing competing priorities and constraints.
- Define and champion engineering best practices, development standards, and process improvements.
- Conduct architecture and code reviews, provide actionable feedback, and validate system API design, scalability, and reliability.
- Engage directly with clients to understand business problems and translate them into technical architecture and implementation plans.
- Lead or support proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives to validate new tools, frameworks, or architectural approaches. • Ensure solutions align with security, performance, and cloud governance standards. • Support hiring efforts to build and scale high-performing engineering teams.
