We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and participating in the design, development, and maintenance of software applications. You will also provide technical guidance, mentorship, and leadership to junior developers.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of software applications, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and develop technical solutions.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code and provide feedback to improve code quality.
- Mentor junior developers, providing technical guidance and support throughout the development process.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and propose innovative solutions to enhance system performance and efficiency.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Develop scalable software solutions that meet project deadlines and deliverables.
- Troubleshoot complex issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in software development.
- Collaborate with project managers to plan project timelines, allocate resources effectively, and manage project risks.
- Conduct unit testing of developed modules to ensure functionality meets design specifications.
- Document technical designs, system configurations, test plans/results, and other project-related documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field; master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 plus years of experience in software development with a focus on full-stack development.
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages such as C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python/Ruby/Perl/ etc.
- Strong knowledge of web technologies (HTML/CSS) and modern frameworks (Blazor /React/Angular/Vue).
- Experience with database design and development using SQL or NoSQL databases (MS SQL DB2/Elastic/MySQL/PostgreSQL/MongoDB).
- Solid understanding of software development methodologies (Agile/Scrum) and version control systems (Git/SVN).
- Experience working on cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure/GCP is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and propose effective solutions.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology or any other related discipline or equivalent related experience.
Preferred Certifications:
- Certified Associate in Software Testing
- Certified Software Quality Analyst
- Certified Test Engineer
WORK EXPERIENCE:
- 7+ years of directly related or relevant experience, preferably in system/software quality and testing.
