Job DescriptionWe are seeking a seasoned MuleSoft CloudHub 2.0 Integration Architect with strong experience in designing and implementing enterprise-grade integration solutions involving SAP, Salesforce, GCP, and asynchronous batch processing systems.
This role requires a blend of technical depth, architectural vision, leadership, and governance mindset, ensuring seamless data flow and integration consistency across the enterprise ecosystem.
The ideal candidate will lead, mentor, and guide integration teams, collaborate with enterprise leadership and EA teams, and drive architecture standardization, cost optimization, and quality delivery across multiple integration programs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Architecture & Design
Define and own the integration architecture roadmap leveraging MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (CloudHub 2.0).
Design end-to-end integration solutions across SAP, Salesforce, and GCP using API-led connectivity principles.
Architect asynchronous APIs, event-driven integrations, and batch processing frameworks for high-volume enterprise workloads.
Ensure security, scalability, performance, and fault tolerance are embedded in all integration designs.
Develop integration blueprints, patterns, and reference architectures in alignment with enterprise standards.
2. Leadership, Governance & Collaboration
Work closely with enterprise leadership and the Enterprise Architecture (EA) team to define, implement, and enforce integration best practices, design standards, and governance frameworks.
Collaborate with business and IT leadership to ensure integration strategies align with organizational goals and enterprise architecture principles.
Represent the integration domain in architecture review boards (ARB) and strategic planning sessions.
Partner with SAP, Salesforce, and GCP platform owners to ensure seamless interoperability and shared architectural vision.
3. Technical Leadership
Serve as the MuleSoft thought leader and guide for developers and solution architects.
Conduct design and code reviews, enforcing reusability, modularization, and compliance with architecture standards.
Guide teams in CloudHub 2.0 setup, VPC configuration, CI/CD pipelines, and shared resource utilization.
Evaluate and introduce new integration accelerators, connectors, and frameworks to enhance delivery efficiency.
4. Mentorship & Delivery Excellence
Mentor and coach integration developers, leads, and junior architects to improve capability maturity.
Drive continuous improvement through reusable assets, design templates, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Collaborate with partner/vendor teams to ensure quality, timeliness, and adherence to enterprise integration standards.
5. Governance & Quality Assurance
Define and enforce API governance models, naming conventions, and versioning standards.
Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and regulatory (GxP, GDPR) requirements in all integrations.
Drive performance tuning, monitoring, and root-cause analysis for critical integration issues.
6. Infra, Cost, and Budget Planning
Collaborate with infrastructure and finance teams to manage capacity planning, worker sizing, and runtime optimization for CloudHub environments.
Prepare and manage budget estimations, cost forecasts, and license utilization reports.
Identify cost-saving opportunities through reuse, automation, and environment optimization.
7. Continuous Improvement & Innovation
Drive DevOps and CI/CD automation for faster, reliable deployments.
Promote use of API Catalogs, integration accelerators, and reusable design fragments.
Stay updated on MuleSoft product evolution, multi-cloud patterns, and emerging integration technologies.
10+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in MuleSoft Integration Architecture.
Deep expertise in Mule 4.x, Anypoint Platform, CloudHub 2.0, Runtime Fabric (RTF), and API Manager.
Proven integration experience with SAP (IDoc/BAPI/RFC/OData), Salesforce APIs, and GCP Services (Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Cloud Storage).
Strong proficiency in API-led connectivity (System, Process, Experience APIs).
Hands-on experience with asynchronous messaging, event-driven architecture, and batch integrations.
Deep understanding of security standards (OAuth 2.0, JWT, mTLS, IP whitelisting, VPC connectivity).
Experience with CI/CD, Anypoint Exchange, DataWeave, and observability tools (Anypoint Monitoring, Splunk, Dynatrace).
Experience in pharma or regulated industry environments (GxP validation) preferred.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Education & Certifications:
Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect – Level 1 (Mandatory)
MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect (Preferred)
Cloud certification (AWS / GCP / Azure) is a plus.
