Job Description

The Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree** in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in Java/J2EE development
• 5+ years of Java API development experience.
• 2+ years of experience working with report generation technology (preferably Eclipse BIRT or similar)
• 3+ years of experience in AWS cloud.
• Basic understanding of Mainframe
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns
• Experience with webservices, JDBC and servlet-based architecture
• Knowledge of version control tools like Git, GitHub
• Familiarity with application servers such as IIS, Tomcat, JBoss, or WebLogic.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills, attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment including the ability to provide guidance to team members.
• Good to have XLST knowledge.

The Ideal Qualifications:

•            Hands-on experience with Eclipse BIRT framework to setup report layout, data source configuration and scripting, eventually to generate on-demand templatized reports.

•            Experience with legacy modernization or system migration projects

•            Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies

•            Knowledge of cloud platforms and DevOps practices is an added advantage.

•            Work experience on Retirement products or financial services domain knowledge is a plus
