A Day in the LifeThe IT Developer (Salesforce) designs, develops, and supports Salesforce solutions that enable customer relationship management, sales enablement, and business process automation. This role contributes to the delivery of scalable Salesforce capabilities through application development, platform configuration, integrations, and adoption of Salesforce AI technologies while partnering with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Design and develop Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Health Cloud, and Experience Cloud platforms.
• Build AI-enabled business capabilities using Salesforce Agentforce, Prompt Builder, and Salesforce AI features.
• Develop Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex classes, triggers, batch processes, queueable jobs, platform events, and REST-based services.
• Configure and optimize Salesforce Flows, approval processes, and workflow automation following platform best practices.
• Implement Salesforce security controls including Organization-Wide Defaults, role hierarchy, sharing rules, permission sets, profiles, field-level security, and restriction rules.
• Integrate Salesforce with enterprise applications using REST APIs, SOAP services, platform events, and other integration frameworks.
• Participate in solution design discussions and recommend approaches that improve scalability, performance, maintainability, and security.
• Troubleshoot application issues, perform root cause analysis, and maintain high-quality code through unit testing and deployment standards.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering OR Master's degree in Computer Applications (MCA) or Science (MSc) with 3-5 years of Salesforce development experience.
• Experience in Apex programming, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce Flows, SOQL, and SOSL.
• Experience developing integrations using REST APIs, SOAP services, platform events, and asynchronous Apex technologies.
• Experience with Salesforce security architecture including Organization-Wide Defaults, role hierarchy, sharing models, permission sets, and field-level security.
• Experience with Git or Bitbucket, CI/CD practices, deployment tools, and Agile delivery methodologies.
  Nice to Haves:
• Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II, Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder, Data Cloud Consultant, or Agentforce Specialist.
• Experience supporting Sales Enablement, CRM transformation, or commercial operations initiatives.
• Experience with Copado or similar Salesforce DevOps and release management tools.
• Experience working with Jira and Scrum-based software development teams.
• Experience optimizing Salesforce data models, application performance, and platform scalability.
