We are seeking a highly motivated Information Protection Analyst to support the day-to-day operations of our Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) programs. The role will focus on managing Zscaler DLP operations, BigID data discovery activities, incident investigations, policy tuning, compliance reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives to protect sensitive enterprise data across endpoints, cloud environments, and SaaS applications.
This position is ideal for candidates with 2 to 5 years of experience in Cybersecurity Operations / Data Protection / SOC environments / EDR controls who are looking to further their expertise with enterprise-scale security controls.
What you'll do:

• Contribute to the implementation of new information protection capabilities, security awareness initiatives, and process improvement programs.
• Monitor, investigate, and respond to DLP, Insider Threat, and data security incidents across enterprise environments.
• Analyze alerts, identify true positives and false positives, and investigate potential data exfiltration activities.
• Support the end-to-end lifecycle of DLP policies, including testing, tuning, deployment, validation, and exception management.
• Perform data discovery, classification, and risk assessment activities using DSPM platforms such as BigID.
• Onboard and manage data sources across cloud, SaaS, and enterprise platforms including AWS, Azure, Microsoft 365, and SharePoint.
• Collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, Legal, Privacy, Compliance, HR, and business teams to drive incident response and remediation activities.
• Prepare operational dashboards, compliance reports, audit evidence, KPIs, and executive metrics.

What you'll bring:

• Relevant certifications such as Security+, CySA+, SC-401, Zscaler Data Security certifications, or BigID certifications are a plus.
• 2-5 years of experience in Cybersecurity Operations, Data Protection, SOC, Insider Threat, EDR, or Information Security environments.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, incident response, endpoint security, ransomware/breach investigations, and Data Loss Prevention concepts.
• Hands-on experience or exposure to tools such as Zscaler DLP, Microsoft Purview, BigID, Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike, Microsoft Sentinel, and ServiceNow.
• Experience with data discovery, classification, security monitoring, cloud security, and compliance-related activities.
• Ability to analyze security incidents, coordinate cross-functional investigations, and communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience with Microsoft Insider Risk Management, DLP administration, security automation, or workflow tools is highly preferred.
