Role Description
The Sales Territory Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. This position is responsible for managing and growing sales within the assigned territory, with a focus on promoting Ayati’s diabetic foot screener and related solutions to clinicians, hospitals, and clinics. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and qualifying leads, conducting product demonstrations, building and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare professionals, and negotiating and closing sales. The role also involves monitoring market trends, gathering customer feedback, coordinating with internal teams on product and service improvements, and preparing regular sales reports and forecasts. The Sales Territory Manager will represent the company at relevant events, ensure consistent follow-up, and work to achieve and exceed territory sales targets.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Strong sales, territory management, and account management skills, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience in healthcare or medical device sales, preferably in diabetes care or related specialties.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.
- Ability to build long-term customer relationships, provide consultative selling, and offer reliable post-sale support.
- Solid organizational, planning, and time-management skills, including proficiency in using CRM tools and basic office software.
- Comfort with frequent field visits within the territory and a willingness to travel as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, healthcare, business, or a related field; an MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
