The Head of People & Operations will drive hiring and enforce execution across teams, focusing on developer productivity and performance culture in a high-performance setting.
We are not looking for a traditional HR Manager.
We are hiring a Head of People & Operations — someone who can run the Hyderabad office like a high-performance engine, drive hiring at speed, and enforce execution across engineering, consulting, and operations teams.
This role requires someone who has worked closely with developers, engineering teams, and delivery units — not just corporate HR.
What You’ll Own
- Hiring Engine (Tech + Non-Tech)
- Build and scale hiring pipelines across engineering, AI/ML, ERP, and consulting roles
- Close high-quality tech talent in competitive markets
- Engineering & Delivery Operations
- Manage developer productivity, sprint discipline, and delivery accountability
- Partner with tech leads to ensure timelines are met
- Identify bottlenecks in engineering workflows and fix them fast
- Performance Culture
- Implement KPI-driven execution across all teams (including developers)
- Run weekly performance reviews and enforce accountability
- Operations Discipline
- Drive attendance, productivity, and utilisation rigor across teams
- Ensure high output from engineering and delivery units
- Leadership & Escalations
- Act as the first line of resolution for internal issues
- Handle underperformance, exits, and tough conversations
- Culture & Standards
- Build a high-performance, no-politics environment
- Align teams to speed, ownership, and execution
What We’re Looking For
- 8–15+ years experience in HR + Operations / People Leadership
- Proven experience managing engineering teams, developers, or tech delivery units
- Track record managing 50–150+ employees or multiple cross-functional teams
- Strong background in:
- Tech companies / SaaS / product startups
- IT services with engineering delivery (e.g., Accenture, Infosys, TCS)
- Consulting firms with technology practices
- Deep understanding of:
- Developer workflows (Agile/Scrum, sprint cycles)
- Engineering productivity metrics
- Hiring and retaining high-quality tech talent
- Strong bias for execution over theory
- Comfortable with high expectations, fast pace, and direct leadership

- Have never worked closely with developers or engineering teams
- Focus only on HR policies without delivery ownership
- Avoid difficult conversations or performance management
- Prefer slow, structured environments
