Position Purpose:
The role is to lead the Business Planning and Analysis team supporting Commercial Markets based in Hyderabad, significantly contributing to the operational excellence of the BPA function by standardizing and harmonizing BPA activities across markets and consolidating common resources. This increases the productivity and efficiency of the team and resources. FIOH Hyderabad serves as a Center of Excellence (CoE) for all operational BPA activities. This role is pivotal in ensuring the BPA global finance transformation by building a host of central processes and high-quality services that drive analytical understanding, resource allocation, and market performance, contributing to building a world-class finance organization.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Business Partnering:

• Take the lead on fostering outstanding relation with key stakeholders and in actively managing the financials with the markets to identify opportunities, adhere to guidance, and identify corrective actions where needed.
• Actively engage with and mentor the team to develop strong collaborative relationships, ensuring they are well-equipped to provide tailored financial support and insights.
• Facilitate comprehensive training programs focused on managing Total Function Costs (TFC), enhancing their ability to deliver precise and strategic financial guidance.
• Foster an environment of close cooperation, mutual understanding and excellent partnership, ensuring that both bespoke team members and on-shore partners work in unison to drive financial excellence and achieve organizational objectives.

Standardized Processes and Bespoke Country Support:

• Develop and maintain a balanced operational model that includes both standardized processes and bespoke support tailored to individual country needs.
• Ensure that standardized processes drive centralization benefits such as efficiency, consistency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Provide customized support to in-country teams to alleviate local workloads and address specific market challenges.
• Foster collaboration between centralized and in-country teams to ensure seamless integration and mutual support, enhancing overall performance and effectiveness.
   

Build World-Class Services:

• Deliver high-quality, timely services that meet or exceed stakeholder expectations.
• Continuously improve service delivery by adopting best practices and leveraging advanced financial tools and technologies.
• Maintain rigorous standards for accuracy, compliance, and consistency in all financial reporting and analysis.

Leverage Best-in-Class Synergies

• Establish and optimize the GCC team to drive harmonization, standardization, and automation of BPA activities across all markets.
• Implement and sustain industry-leading processes and systems to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Ensure seamless integration and alignment of CoE operations with global finance strategies and objectives.

Develop a Deep Talent Bench:

• - Build and nurture a robust talent pipeline at all levels of seniority within the organization.
• - Identify and develop high-potential individuals for key roles, ensuring a steady supply of qualified talent for both global and in-market positions.
• - Foster a culture of continuous learning and development, providing opportunities for professional growth and career advancement.

Leverage Best-in-Class Synergies

• Establish and optimize the GCC team to drive harmonization, standardization, and automation of BPA activities across all markets.
• Implement and sustain industry-leading processes and systems to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Ensure seamless integration and alignment of CoE operations with global finance strategies and objectives.

Lead/Support Global Finance Initiatives:

• Oversee initiatives such as centralized TFC Management, FTE/personal cost planning, and the simplification of planning processes.
• Drive the implementation of global finance transformation projects, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution and adoption of finance initiatives.

Optimize Resource Utilization:

• Lead efforts to harmonize common functions and eliminate redundancies across commercial markets.
• Drive standardization and efficiency improvements to optimize the utilization of Full-Time Equivalents (FTEs).
• Ensure that resources are allocated effectively to support business needs and strategic priorities.

What you’ll bring to the role:

Essential Requirements

• Cost Management Accountant/Chartered Accountant/MBA Finance.
• 15 years relevant accounting/financial experience, extensive BPA experience in a GCC /Commercial Finance set-up is highly preferred.
• Experience in global functions desirable. Used to work in multi-location/multi-market environment
• Excellent analytical and strategic skills
• Experience with interfacing effectively with parent and global counterparts
• In-depth knowledge of Sandoz business information systems and structure, including SHAPE, Data Warehouse, and BPC highly preferred
• Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing; ability to clearly explain financial information to a variety of audiences
• Strong IT skills including excellent proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint, data analytics platform knowledge desirable
