We are looking for an accomplished and passionate Expert Java Developer to join our cyber intelligence team in India. You will have an opportunity to participate in developing state-of-the-art security technologies, and benefit from high-level involvement in major projects that will significantly contribute to making our world safer and more secure.
As a Cognyter you will:
- Function as a major part of a cross-functional high performing agile application development team
- Build, design and develop java components and microservices over a distributed environment in a cloud native system, with a focus on high availability, low latency, scalability, and high throughput
- Collaborate closely with global development teams, product owners, architects and system integration engineers to identify and solve challenging problems
For that mission you’ll need:
- BSc Computer Science / Software Engineering or equivalent
- At least 10 years’ hands-on experience in back-end software development of high-performance complex systems
- Strong, extensive background in server-side development in Java 8 and related technologies, such as JBoss, Spring
- Experience with concepts such as multithreading, REST, web-sockets and application servers
- Experience with developing microservices in cloud environments
- Experience with Automation tools like Jenkins, Ansible, Gauge
- In-depth understanding of the entire web development process including design, development, deployment, CI/CD processes, automation, build and release flows
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively
An Advantage:
- Experience with software deployment containers such as OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker
- Experience with web development technologies: JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, NodeJS, React
