The Team:
We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and skilled software engineer to join an agile scrum team developing technology solutions for S&P Global Market Intelligence. The team is responsible for modernizing and maintaining the product by utilizing the latest technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Architect, design, and implement software-related projects.
• Perform analysis and articulate solutions.
• Manage and improve existing solutions.
• Solve a variety of complex problems and evaluate possible solutions, weighing costs and benefits.
• Collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Actively participate in all scrum ceremonies while adhering to Agile principles and best practices.

What We’re Looking For:

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 4-6 years of strong hands-on development experience with relevant technologies.
• Demonstrated strong object-oriented programming skills.
• Knowledge of fundamentals related to the financial industry.
• Mentoring experience.
• Understanding of database performance tuning.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently and effectively within specific timeframes.
• Experience in conducting application design and code reviews.
• Familiarity with cloud services and unit testing methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies is a plus.
