The Team: iLEVEL private markets is part of the larger MI Enterprise Solutions technology team, composed of over 100+ engineers operating out of the USA (United States of America), Europe, and India. All team members share a passion for technology and solving complex technical problems with focus on quality and high performance.

The Impact: iLEVEL is a key application of the Enterprise Solutions toolset set built with cloud native technologies (AWS), responsive React front ends and C# microservices to collect, calculate at high capacity and visualize private market investments. These components are distributed through a modern, fully automated CI/CD pipeline to serve a high availability toolset to customers around the globe. You will be contributing to the growth of the application and organization.

As a member of the Enterprise Solutions Division, you will contribute and make an impact towards designing, building, and maintaining solutions supporting the iLEVEL platform. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Code Development: Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code for both frontend and backend systems, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications that drive project success.
  • User Interface Implementation: Implement and uphold cutting-edge user interfaces using React, ensuring an outstanding user experience through innovative design and functionality.
  • Quality Assurance: Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to verify the quality and reliability of the code, ensuring high standards of software excellence.
  • Debugging and Troubleshooting: Proactively debug and resolve issues throughout the entire stack, from frontend UI to backend services, ensuring minimal disruption to user experience.
  • Version Control and CI/CD: Utilize version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/delivery tools to streamline development workflows and maintain code integrity.
  • Industry Awareness: Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to provide informed recommendations and enhancements that drive innovation within the team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven experience as a ReactJS Developer with a minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience, complemented by a robust portfolio showcasing impactful ReactJS projects.
  • Proficiency in frontend technologies, including React, Redux, Micro frontend architecture, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with a strong emphasis on responsive and adaptive design.
  • Experience writing unit and integration tests, preferably JEST.
  • Familiarity with RESTful API design principles and best practices, ensuring seamless integration between frontend and backend systems.
  • Solid understanding of version control systems, particularly Git, to facilitate collaborative development.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is advantageous, enhancing the ability to deploy and manage applications in cloud environments.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities, coupled with the capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective interaction with technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Domain knowledge in the Financial Industry and Capital Markets.
  • Working knowledge of AWS cloud services (EC2, ECS, Load Balancer, Security Group, EMR, Lambda, S3, Glue, etc.).
  • Good to have working knowledge in .Net (C#).
