Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Utilizing design software to engineer broadband systems
- Generating coaxial and fiber optic layout designs, including connectivity
- Validating design adherence to regional HFC architecture and specifications
- Conducting system analysis for optimization and simplicity
- Developing various technical drawings and maps for departmental reference
- Keeping system maps and design files current and accurate
- Handling HFC SMB and plant extensions and quality control in Spatial
- Planning and designing coaxial and fiber networks, including Metro-E projects
- Coordinating with construction and sales for project alignment
- Overseeing design package uploads to P2 and manage wavelength assignments
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
