Job DescriptionJob Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Development Manager to lead a team of developers in building scalable, high-performing web applications. This role involves hands-on development, project leadership, team management, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver innovative solutions that drive business value.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Management
- Lead and mentor a team of full stack developers (frontend and backend).
- Set goals, conduct performance reviews, and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Oversee the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, QA, and other stakeholders to define requirements and ensure timely delivery.
Technical Execution
- Architect and develop robust and scalable web applications using modern frameworks and technologies.
- Ensure code quality through code reviews, automated testing, and adherence to coding standards.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure modern best practices.
Project Delivery
- Drive sprint planning, estimations, and agile ceremonies.
- Monitor project timelines, scope, and progress, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks and dependencies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in full stack software development.
- 2+ years in a technical leadership or managerial role.
- Proficiency in frontend technologies: JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Backend experience with Node.js, Python, Java, Ruby, or .NET.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Familiarity with database systems (SQL and NoSQL).
- Exposure to serverless architectures and GraphQL.
- Previous experience scaling engineering teams or start-up experience is a plus.
