The Opportunity
This position is based on site in Austin, TX in the Heart Failure Division. In Abbott’s Heart Failure business, we’re developing solutions to diagnose, monitor and manage heart failure, allowing people to restore their health and live better.
What You’ll Work On
As a Digital Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in managing Abbott’s Heart Failure digital marketing technology stack and digital marketing processes. You will collaborate with various business teams to drive platform health, implementation, and best-in-class use. You will also set direction to inspire the continuous improvement of digital processes, standards, and procedures.
Main Responsibilities
Marketing Automation and Database Management
- Configure and optimize automated workflows and data orchestration
- Oversee marketing database management, ensuring data quality and compliance with privacy regulations
- Execute data cleansing initiatives to maintain data health
- Monitor campaigns for automation accuracy and perform quality assurance on customer-facing initiatives
- Execute marketing automation campaigns to drive lead generation
- Gather inputs and assets for email campaigns, including audience segmentation and campaign logic
- Build and test email templates within automation platforms
Operational, Support and Process Improvement
- Provide operational and analytical support for growth marketing initiatives
- Generate regular reports on marketing metrics offering insights
- Identify and implement projects to improve operational performance and efficiency
- Assist in the administration of marketing tools, iterating on workflows and nurture programs
- Document Standard Operating Procedures
Marketing Technology Management & Execution
- Manage and optimize the marketing technology stack
- Support the adoption of new technologies
- Stand up and support technology throughout the marketing funnel, from prospect to customer
- Stay up to date on marketing trends and technologies to drive innovation
- Collaborate on the development and integration of marketing technologies to enhance capabilities and streamline processes
- Define technology tools and platform roadmaps across all digital channels, through strategic guidance and discovery of emerging digital platforms and channels
- Work closely with IT development to represent use cases and communicate business priorities and user needs
- Manage contractor and third-party technology vendor relationships
- Manage and mitigate technology-related issues for platforms and projects; work closely with IT and other partners to do so
- Manage taxonomy and meta data tagging within CMS systems (AEM and others) working with dedicated web agency
- Collaborate with IT teams to deliver effective and compelling online experiences through product lifecycle by providing user stories, functional requirements, and participating in UAT, launch and post-launch activities
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in digital marketing operations, demand generation or digital marketing with a strong preference for candidates who have thrived within a healthcare company
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Public Relations, Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- A highly analytical mindset and attention to detail
- The capacity to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating exceptional organizational skills
- A creative problem solving approach
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-assured, adaptable and self-motivated, thriving in a fast-paced environment, capable of working effectively under tight deadlines
- A deep understanding of the B2B marketing funnel, including its stages and implications for measurement
- Experience with database management
- Demonstrated use of analytics and data management in decision-making on platform features and use
- Experience with platform feature evaluation against business requirements, as well as prioritization
- Proven experience working with cross-functional teams and outside vendors, as well as collaborating with multiple internal stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Database management and hygiene experience, workflow tools (e.g., Wrike, Monday.com)
- Expertise in project management, with a proven track record of successfully coordinating tasks across diverse teams and managing competing deadlines
- Experience with Adobe Experience Manager, Marketo, Salesforce, Google Analytics, Power BI
- Experience with agile methodology approach and tools (e.g., JIRA,)

$95,000.00 – $190,000.00
