Job Introduction:
CI/CD Engineer / Test Automation Engineer
We are looking for a highly skilled CI/CD Engineer with 4 + years of experience in the automotive industry to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing, maintaining, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless software integration, testing, and deployment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design Jenkins automation framework for HIL/SIL Testing, and drive continuous improvement in build and release management. With expertise in Jenkins, Groovy scripting, Batch scripting, Python, and GitHub, you will help automate workflows and enhance development efficiency. Major Responsibilities:
- Build & Release Management: Develop and maintain build software and support software integration processes.
- Scripting & Automation: Utilize Groovy scripting, Batch scripting, and Python to automate processes.
- Continuous Integration & Deployment: Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development using Jenkins.
- Integration & Testing: Support HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) and SIL (Software-in-the-Loop) testing to ensure system reliability and efficiency.
- Test Framework Development: Design, develop, and maintain Jenkins framework to support activities during automated test.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality software.
- Version Control & GitHub Expertise: Act as a subject matter expert in GitHub, handling repositories, branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with customers to understand their requirements and provide solutions.
- Process Improvement: Continuously enhance and optimize development workflows.
Knowledge and Education:
- A bachelor's degree in EEE engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field is mandatory.
Work Experience:
- 4 + years of experience in DevOps or CI/CD automation for automotive industry. expertise in software integration.
- Understanding of automotive process model of development cycle and test cycle.
- Proficient in Jenkins for Continuous Integration & Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline development and automation.
- Skilled in Groovy scripting, Batch scripting, and Python to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
- Strong experience in GitHub, including repository management, branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews.
- Experience in process improvement by optimizing CI/CD workflows and development methodologies.
