Currently we are looking for an exceptional and passionate DevOps Automation Engineer - Junior to support our infrastructure DevOps team. The role involves manually validating internally developed infra code in lab environments and automating test suites once stable.
As a Cognyter you will:
- Perform manual testing of infrastructure-related code and features in lab environments.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases for stabilized features.
- Collaborate with DevOps engineers to validate integrations, deployments, and system behavior.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and document issues across network, OS, and CI/CD components.
- Contribute to improving test coverage, reliability, and automation efficiency.
For that mission you need:
- 2-4 years' experience with Linux and multi‑OS environments.
- Scripting skills in Bash and Python.
- Exposure to Kubernetes / OpenShift, containers (Docker/LXC), and configuration tools like Ansible
- Good understanding of networking: DNS, TCP, DHCP, Firewalls, VPNs.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins).
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of network security (IPsec, NAT, Layer 7 filtering, ACLs).
- Strong debugging skills and a detail‑oriented, proactive mindset.
