Data Engineer – SQL, SSIS, Data Warehousing & BI Reporting

• Key Responsibilities:
  Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• Build and manage data warehouses to support reporting and analytics initiatives.
• Create and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions for data extraction and transformation.
• Develop interactive and static BI reports and dashboards using SAP BusinessObjects and Crystal Reports.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather data and reporting requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.
• Ensure data accuracy, quality, and report reliability.
• Monitor and optimize ETL workflows and report performance.
• Apply best practices for data management, documentation, and performance tuning.

Required Skills:

• Proven expertise in SQL Server, SSIS, and Data Warehousing concepts.
• Hands-on experience with SAP BusinessObjects and Crystal Reports for report development.
• Strong analytical skills to understand and work with complex datasets.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical data solutions.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and data lake architecture.

• Knowledge of other BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience with big data tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
• Mentoring or team leadership experience is an advantage.

Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Several years of hands-on experience in data engineering and/or BI development.
