- Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering.
- 8-11 years of experience with data analytics, data modeling, and database design.
- 5+ years of coding and scripting (Python, Java, Scala) and design experience.
- 3+ years of experience with Spark framework.
- Experience with ELT methodologies and tools.
- Strong understanding of schema design and transformation logic. Strong data integrity, analytical and multitasking skills.
- Experience with Vertica. Expertise in tuning and troubleshooting SQL queries.
- Participate in architecture discussions, influence product roadmap, and take ownership and responsibility over new projects
- Experience coaching and mentoring junior teammates.
- Experience leading a large technical effort that spans multiple people and teams
- Experience identifying and implementing technical improvements to development processes
- Motivation, creativity, self-direction, and desire to thrive on small project teams
- Excellent communication, problem solving, organizational and analytical skills.
