Nestack Technologies is looking for experienced ColdFusion Developers who can design, develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using Adobe ColdFusion. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in ColdFusion development, database integration, backend logic, API development, and maintaining existing enterprise applications.
The candidate should be comfortable working on both new feature development and legacy application support, with a strong focus on clean code, performance, security, and maintainability.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using ColdFusion / CFML.
- Work on existing ColdFusion-based applications and improve functionality, performance, and stability.
- Write clean, reusable, and well-structured ColdFusion code.
- Design and integrate REST APIs and third-party services.
- Work with relational databases such as MySQL, MS SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
- Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database interactions.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, project managers, and clients.
- Participate in requirement discussions and provide technical suggestions.
- Ensure application security, data validation, and best coding practices.
- Support application deployment, maintenance, and production issue resolution.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Adobe ColdFusion / CFML.
- Good understanding of ColdFusion components, functions, tags, scopes, and application lifecycle.
- Experience with database design, SQL queries, joins, indexes, and stored procedures.
- Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, XML, and third-party integrations.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and jQuery.
- Experience in debugging and optimizing ColdFusion applications.
- Understanding of MVC architecture and structured coding practices.
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
