About this opportunity
The IT Change Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating changes to IT systems and services to minimize risk, avoid service disruption, and ensure successful implementation. This role ensures that all changes follow established governance, are properly assessed, approved, scheduled, communicated, and reviewed in line with ITIL and organizational standards.
What you will do• Own and manage the IT Change Management process end to end• Assess, review, and approve change requests for risk, impact, and readiness• Chair and coordinate Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings• Ensure changes are properly documented, tested, and authorized• Maintain the change calendar and manage scheduling conflicts• Communicate upcoming changes, outages, and risks to stakeholders• Monitor and report on change performance metrics (success rates, incidents, rollbacks)• Ensure emergency changes are handled correctly and reviewed post-implementation• Drive continuous improvement of change processes and controls• Ensure compliance with internal policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
You will bring :• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)• 3-7 years of experience in IT Service Management or Change Management• Strong knowledge of ITIL Change Management practices• Experience working in complex IT environments (infrastructure, applications, cloud, etc.)• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills• Strong analytical and risk-assessment capabilities• Ability to manage multiple changes under tight timelines
Preferred Qualifications:• ITIL v4 Certification (or v3)• Experience with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, Jira Service Management)• Experience in regulated environments (finance, healthcare, government)• Project management experience or certification
