Role
The Capital Structure Analyst will be responsible for regularly entering and updating the capital structures of all EMEA-based companies in Octus’ internal systems and databases. Capital structure analysts would work closely with our credit analysts and editorial teams to build capital structures and update as companies report. Each successful candidate would own a set of capital structures that they would be responsible for maintaining.
Successful candidates would have a strong understanding of debt instruments and other securities as well as a solid grasp of financial reporting complexities.
Requirements:
● Prior experience in capital structure analysis
● Minimum 5 years of experience in data, business administration or financial service
● Core understanding of credit market and financial statements
● Strong attention to detail
● Proven ability to prioritize tasks within tight deadlines and make sound decisions autonomously
● Effective project management skills, including strong attention to detail, and demonstrated analytical skills
● Flexible in working in US and European hours if required
● Remote working experience across different time zones is a must
● Drive to continuously improve, owning mistakes and learning from them
● Action oriented, effective team player and driven to excel
● Creative in finding the right solutions in a fast paced environment
● Proactive communicator with a strong work ethic
