PeopleCert is looking for a Business Development Manager- APAC who will be responsible for developing strong pipelines and delivering new business across the APAC region. Through an in-depth understanding of the PeopleCert Group and go-to-market strategy, the successful candidate will establish relationships with key decision makers of training organizations, universities, and corporations in their assigned territory. 

As a Business Development Manager- APAC, your tasks will include the following: 

  • Oversee all commercial activities across the APAC region to expand market presence. 
  • Connect with corporates, government entities, and professional organizations to grow awareness and market share of PeopleCert products. 
  • Work closely with partner organizations across APAC to drive sales of PRINCE2 and other portfolio products. 
  • Forge and nurture high-impact relationships with senior decision-makers. 
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of leads and key accounts across multiple countries. 
  • Drive B2B market penetration through a target-driven sales strategy. 
  • Coordinate with global teams while adapting to regional market dynamics and cultural nuances. 
  • Plan and organize personal and regional sales strategy to maximize ROI. 
  • Monitor performance against targets and report to Headquarters. 
  • Resolve customer issues in collaboration with support teams. 
  • Represent PeopleCert in regional events, forums, and exhibitions. 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with global product and marketing teams. 
  • Ensure alignment with company core values — Quality, Innovation, Passion, Integrity, Clarity, and Velocity. 

What we look for: 

  • Post-graduate degree is a must in IT, preferably an MBA. 
  • 5- 8 years of experience in business development across APAC markets. 
  • Strong exposure to multi-country sales and regional leadership. 
  • Awareness of PRINCE2 is desirable but not mandatory. 
    Strong understanding of channel development, partnerships, and consultative selling. 
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across cultures. 
  • Exposure in the Education market, Consulting or Examination / Certification sectors in previous role(s) as well as prior experience in international corporate environments will be considered an asset. Preference will be given to candidates from IT Consulting and/or Technology backgrounds. 
  • Advanced written and spoken English (C2 level certification desired, LANGUAGECERT C2 LTE or C2 IESOL certificate would be a plus). 
  • Advanced computer literacy is required. ECDL Advance level certification is desirable. 
  • Experience in Microsoft Dynamics CRM or similar software will be considered an asset.

Secure English Language Tests (SELTs) 

Any person who is engaged by PeopleCert to work on the SELT service must undergo a Background Check prior to commencing their SELT duties. All SELT personnel will be required to complete a declaration (provided by PeopleCert) where the existence of any criminal record and/or bankruptcy must be declared. 

If working on the SELT service anywhere in the world, personnel will undergo equivalent background checks.
