Techdome is looking for a Business Development Executive with strong experience in Upwork, IT services sales, and international client acquisition.
In this role, you will identify high-value opportunities, develop tailored proposals, engage with global clients, and drive opportunities from initial outreach through successful closure. You will work closely with our technical and design teams to understand requirements and shape the right solutions for clients.
- Research and identify relevant IT projects and business opportunities on Upwork.
- Develop compelling, client-focused proposals aligned with project requirements.
- Own the lead lifecycle — from initial engagement and follow-ups to negotiation and closure.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with international clients.
- Partner with technical and design teams to understand requirements, scope solutions, and prepare estimates.
- Maintain accurate records of bids, leads, pipeline, conversions, and revenue.
- Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and repeat business.
- Continuously improve bidding strategies based on market trends, client feedback, and conversion data.
- 2+ years of experience in Upwork bidding, business development, or IT services sales.
- Demonstrated success in winning projects through Upwork.
- Strong understanding of Upwork, Connects, bidding strategies, and proposal development.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong understanding of Web Development, App Development, UI/UX, and Digital Marketing/SEO services.
- Excellent client relationship management, negotiation, follow-up, and closing skills.
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to work independently and consistently achieve business targets.
- Experience with platforms such as Fiverr, Freelancer, or PeoplePerHour.
- Hands-on experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Experience managing international clients across different regions.
- Basic understanding of technical scoping, project estimation, and delivery timelines.
- Experience working with SaaS, product development, or technology consulting companies.
- Own the end-to-end business development lifecycle across Upwork and international markets.
