Key Responsibilities
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, working closely with the audit team throughout the engagement
- Perform and support the completion of audit fieldwork, including planned substantive and analytical procedures
- Take responsibility for planning and completing audit assignments, ensuring audit files are properly documented and compliant
- Prepare statutory financial statements based on client data
- Identify and highlight key risk areas or matters of concern to the Partner/Director/Manager (PDM), applying sound professional judgement
- Progressively take ownership of planning, execution, and finalization of audit assignments for PDM review
- Lead, manage, motivate, and coach junior team members to support their development
- Mentor early-career colleagues and collaborate effectively with trainees, peers, and Managers
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment focused on high performance and continuous improvement
Skills & Experience & Qualifications
- Fully Qualified Chartered Accountant or ACA or ACCA.
- 2 years of statutory audit experience.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills; able to show initiative and apply strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Solid knowledge of financial statement preparation and the ability to review disclosures using checklists
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and technical proficiency.
- Awareness of business trends and emerging industry and technical developments.
