●Job Description:

●We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented **Mid-Level Python Developer** to join our team and support the ongoing development and maintenance of our METL team.

●This role involves working on a robust data integration platform that leverages Python, MongoDB, and AWS, with a focus on ETL processes, API development, and backend services.

●Key Responsibilities:

●- Develop, maintain, and enhance backend services and ETL pipelines using Python.

●- Work with MongoDB for data storage, retrieval, and manipulation, including writing efficient queries and managing collections.

●- Implement and maintain RESTful APIs and integrations with external systems.

●- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.

●- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

●- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in existing codebase.

●- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.

●- Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.

●- Support deployment and CI/CD processes using tools like Jenkins and AWS SAM.

●- Document technical solutions and contribute to project documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

- 4-6 years of professional experience in Python development.

- Solid understanding of OOP and Python best practices.

- Experience with MongoDB (PyMongo), including CRUD operations and query optimization.

- Familiarity with RESTful API development (Flask, FastAPI, or similar frameworks).

- Experience with version control systems, especially Git.

- Exposure to cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins).

- Ability to write and maintain unit tests (unittest, pytest, or similar).

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with data integration, ETL, or data pipeline projects.

- Familiarity with AWS Lambda, SAM, and serverless architectures.

- Knowledge of working with JSON, XML, and data validation.

- Experience with logging, monitoring, and debugging distributed systems.

- Exposure to Agile methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence.
