The Associate System QA is responsible for developing and executing tests on new and existing products to ensure they meet the requisite functional, technical, and regulatory compliance and maintain high overall product quality.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans and test scripts for new and existing products and projects.
- Follow the SQA Work Instructions on daily basis.
- Submit, track, and assist with the escalation of any product issues found during testing to ensure they are resolved.
- Utilize all required documents and KT sessions for SQA functions and testing.
- Provide input to the weekly project status report for each assigned project.
- Provide a detailed Completion Report at the end of each project.
- Interface with other members of Product Development to effectively communicate and assist with the resolution of all reported issues in a timely manner.
- Understanding of software test methodologies/procedures and the overall product development lifecycle
- Reproduce issues, when necessary, in order to assist software developers in resolving issues
- Assist the SQA Department on special projects.
- Introduce process improvement initiatives.
- Establish key contacts with upstream organizations that directly impact SQA.
- Attend OS Dev and Game Dev Code Reviews
