The Lilly Office 365 platform enables the Lilly workforce to collaborate more productively.   Office 365 provides collaboration focused services, including collaboration tools (Copilot, SharePoint Online, Teams, Email, Viva Engage), personal workspaces (OneDrive), business intelligence dashboards and development tools (CoPilot Agents, PowerApps and Power Automate), and Microsoft search capabilities for the global Lilly workforce

What You’ll Be Doing:

As an O365 Associate Director, you will be at the forefront of introducing new capabilities within a fast-paced, global setting. Office 365 empowers the Lilly workforce to collaborate more effectively in their daily tasks. Your role combines technical resource management, supplier and vendor engagement, and business relationship management while continuing to develop your own technical depth to enable transformation at scale.

How You’ll Succeed:

  • Manage a team. As an administrative leader, manage the talent on the team using appropriate performance management, reward and recognition, development opportunities, and demonstrated diversity and inclusion. Participate in financial activities including strategic and business planning, monthly forecasting, and managing expenses.

  • Build technical depth in O365/Voice. Develop an understanding of O365/Voice technologies, service delivery, operations and enable self-service support for the broader enterprise.

  • Service Level Agreements: Ensure Service Level Agreements or Key Performance Metrics are being achieved or exceeded. 

  • Influence across the enterprise. Using business relationship management skills, collaborate across Tech@Lilly. Partner with functional points of contact to influence collaboration and voice strategies and strategic direction across functions.

  • Global O365, Voice and SharePoint Operations: Manage day-to-day operations, including performance and availability, customer escalations and follow-ups, operations projects, and upgrades.

What You Should Bring:

  • Previous experiences with all Office 365 and Voice capabilities. 

  • Demonstrated positive examples for inclusion, aligning a team to a goal, upskilling and developing people, and conducting difficult conversations.

  • Understanding of financial processes for strategic and business planning, and direct oversight of a budget. Experience with procurement and contract processes is a plus.

  • Successful record of high quality, user focused IT project and service delivery with demonstrated business value.

  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively across and within diverse teams.

  • Demonstrated agility to rapidly understand multiple new technologies and the infrastructure and systems to support them, assess their value, and identify possible use cases.

  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills, working across agile and diverse teams.

  • A high level of intellectual curiosity, open to change, learning agility, external perspective, and innovation interest.

  • Improve team and end-user productivity within the Office 365 environment. 

  • Experience with formal project management foundation, framework, and methodologies such as Agile Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc. and demonstrated experience in industry best practice and tools.

  • Availability to work flexible work hours is/may be required. This team will support continuous operations across two shifts and therefore, this role will require non-standard work hours, and some work on weekends and holidays.  Appropriate adjustments in benefits will be provided for employees working non-standard hours where applicable.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or related technical field

  • 9+ years’ experience leading complex IT projects in a highly technical IT environment.
