About the Role
As an Associate Consultant – Application Support Analyst, this role is part of a dynamic team responsible for keeping critical business applications and systems running smoothly for global clients, round the clock.
The role involves acting as the first point of contact when applications or systems do not work as expected, with responsibilities including system monitoring, early issue identification, and providing first-level (L1) support to resolve incidents or escalate them to the appropriate teams.
In addition to core support activities, the role offers,
- Exposure to automation and continuous improvement, with opportunities to contribute to automated scripts, monitoring queries, and reporting dashboards.
- Hands-on exposure to multiple technology stacks, including .NET, Java, SQL, Oracle, and NoSQL databases, as well as leading cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS.
- Experience with modern DevOps and deployment tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and Harness, making it a strong foundation for freshers to build practical skills in application support, cloud technologies, and DevOps practices.
- What You Will Do
- Monitor business applications and system dashboards to ensure everything is working correctly
- Contribute to automation scripts, monitoring queries, and reporting dashboards to improve system efficiency and visibility
- Work across multiple technology stacks including .NET, Java, SQL, Oracle, and NoSQL databases based on application needs
- Gain hands-on exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS
- Support deployments and automation using DevOps tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and Harness
- Track automated jobs, data flows, and system processes and confirm they complete successfully
- Create monitoring dashboards in PowerBI or similar reporting tools
- Automate alerts and reconciliation using low code platforms and tools.
- Identify issues such as system failures, data mismatches, delays, or unexpected behaviour
- Log incidents and service requests clearly with proper details
- Perform basic troubleshooting using documented steps and guidelines
- Resolve common issues independently at Level 1 (L1) support
- Escalate complex issues to senior teams with proper analysis and information
- Communicate status updates clearly to internal teams and clients
- Follow shift handover processes to ensure continuity between teams
- Maintain accurate records, checklists, and operational logs
- Follow defined processes, SLAs, and quality standards
- Continuously learn system behaviour, business workflows, and support procedures

Educational Background
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, IT, BSc, BCA or any relevant discipline
