Your Team's Impact
FactSet Fundamentals Team collects financial statements of Public and Private (US only) companies across the continent. The team sources the company filings from various sources like stock exchanges, company websites, and regulatory body & third-party vendors. We extract & analyze the data from financial statement like Balance Sheet, Income Statement & Cash flow statement of the company. The team also collects the textual data like Business Activities, Officers, Shareholder, industry classification, etc.
The Assistant Manager Operations handles and directs activities of assigned multiple and cross-cultural teams, multiple processes and is responsible for providing accurate and reliable quantitative financial market data to internal database and external clients based on financial industry source publications, financial reports and other resources. This function engages in people skills development, career progression and the overall administration for all team members.
What You'll Do
Ensures timeliness, accuracy and coverage of team productivity and drives to improve the same on a continuous basis
Plan, outline and implement an effective and efficient workload distribution encompassing all units in the team
Monitor data inflow, content and process enhancement and liaise with technology team for development and implementation of initiatives
Imparts technical/content training to the team wherever required
Guide and mentor new Team Leaders on the floor
Identifies process/tool enhancement initiatives and liaises with technology team for development. Take a leading role in the implementation of such actions
Collaborate with the Quality team in streamlining quality feedback and optimize operational output
Serves as escalation point for complex data-related queries and production and technical issues.
Formulate, execute, monitor, assess and recalibrate motivation plans for enhanced employee morale and appropriate reward systems
Does the administrative work in managing the team including attendance, discipline, and performance management
Fully knowledgeable in all content sources used and data sets covered
Improved client satisfaction and retention.
Performs other duties from time to time that may be assigned by Management

What We're Looking For
Required Skills
Graduate in Commerce / Business Management or equivalent
Experienced in MS office suite including a high proficiency in working with PowerPoint and other training software
Good skills in use of MS applications (Excel, Word & Power Point)
Desired Skills
Good communications skills written & oral
Good numerical skills / Analytical
Good knowledge of accountancy
Eye for Detail
Able to motivate the team & also self-motivated
Able to lead the team effectively
Good organizational skills
Good MIS skills
Ability to work under pressure and multi-task
Minimum Rating should be Strong Performance or better in last 3 evaluation cycles
Should not be in PIP/CAP in the last 3 evaluation cycles
