We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Manager – Finance to lead key aspects of our financial operations. This role is a critical replacement for our outgoing team member. The ideal candidate will bring strong knowledge of taxation laws, financial acumen, and operational rigor to ensure robust compliance and reporting frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct Taxation – India Entity:
- Preparation of monthly TDS workings and initiation of TDS payments
- Preparation and filing of quarterly TDS returns
- Generation and issuance of TDS certificates
- Preparation of Quarterly Advance tax workings
- Preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns
- Preparation and coordination for completion of Tax Audit (Form 3CA–3CD)
- Preparation of Transfer Pricing documentation and filings (Form 3CEB, Form 3CEAA)
- Assistance in filing Advance Pricing Agreements (APA) in coordination with consultants
- Preparation and filing of Form 15CA/15CB for overseas payments
- Support in handling income tax assessments, notices, and litigation matters
- Filing of monthly ESI returns
- Preparation and filing of monthly and annual Profession Tax (PT) returns for Telangana & Karnataka
- Handling Provident Fund (PF) compliance activities
- Indirect Taxation – India Entity:
- Preparation and filing of GST returns (Regular & ISD)
- Raising and managing e-invoices
- Tracking Input tax credits and reconciliation through IMS
- Preparation of GST refund workings
- Preparation of GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C workings
- Support in handling GST assessments, audits, and litigations
- Accounting & Reporting – India Entity:
- Support in month close activities
- Support in day-to-day accounting activities
- Preparation of cash flow statements and variance analysis
- Support in completion of audits including Internal Audit, Statutory Audit, Tax Audit, Fixed Assets Verification, and Group/Consolidation Audit
- Reporting the compliance calendar to leadership
- Handling ROC Compliances
- Leverage ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) to streamline and automate financial processes
- Coordinate with bankers, auditors, tax consultants, bankers, legal advisors, and government authorities as required
Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with strong academic credentials
- 3–4 years of progressive experience in end-to-end taxation and supporting finance & accounting functions
- Strong understanding of Indian Accounting Standards, tax laws, and financial reporting requirements
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as Oracle NetSuite, FloQast, or Blackline
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple stakeholders
- Strong multi-tasking capability
