The role will be involved in evangelizing, strategizing and defining the platform layer architecture, design and development. The ideal candidate will have a mindset of owning platform layer as a product offering.

Impact You'll Make:

Key requirements for this role include:

• Detailed understanding of platform components like Infrastructure, SDLC tool chain, Data management and security aspects.
• Development experience with Enterprise software products and SDLC lifecycle.
• Thorough understanding of the DevOps, DevSecOps and pipeline implementations.
• Strong understanding of Infrastructure technologies On Prem and Cloud hosted.
• Experience with IaC technologies like Ansible, Salt, Chef and Terraform.
• Understanding of and working experience SaC (Security as Code)
• Working experience with at least one programming language, Python, Go, Java, C, C++.
• Strong understanding of Data management technologies, experience with at least one of the SQL and NOSQL products.
• Big Data experience, Hadoop and understanding of MapReduce. Analytics understanding and working experience is a plus.
• Understanding and working experience of Web protocols, Web Services and REST APIs.
• 3-tier Application Architecture understanding and design experience for at least one enterprise application end-to-end.
• Detailed understanding of cloud security and cloud infrastructure services
• Thorough understanding of the SRE practices and working experience with at least one of the observability stacks (Monitoring, logging, Visualization).

Education and Certifications

• 4-year degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• Master’s degree preferred
• Cloud related certifications

Desired Skills and Experience

• 8-15 Years of experience in software design and development with at least 5+ years of experience working in handling on-premise and cloud infrastructures
• Extensive experience CI/CD pipeline alongside the Development team
• Strong experience on Continuous Integration/ Continuous Testing/ Continuous Delivery processes and tools
• Proficient in CI/CD toolchain including Git, Junit, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, SonarQube, Checkmarx, Artifactory, UDeploy, Others
• Programming experience with at least one of the languages, Java, Python, Go, C++, C.
• Experience working with at least one of the IAC tools such as Ansible, Terraform.
• Clear understanding of Config management tools.
• Strong understanding and working experience of at least one public cloud technology.
• Experience with Big data stack and understanding of the technology.

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
