Account Managers are the individuals that we entrust to manage our largest and most strategically important accounts at a tactical level. While their day-to-day may not be as rapid fire as our sales reps, they must be able to think big-picture, understanding how to balance service, cost and relationship. Account Managers are crucial to growing major accounts and therefore, the Werner Brokerage. They are the gateways of business development, growth and communication with our most strategic customers.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Managing the tactical and operational relationships with major accounts
- Assure all customer expectations are met and exceeded
- Expanding the business levels awarded to Werner by major accounts
- Timely and regular attendance according to the scheduled shift as determined by supervisory personnel.
