This high-visibility position combines hands-on technical expertise with strategic leadership, contributing directly to product innovation, scalability, and global technology direction. The role also involves mentoring local engineers in Hyderabad and collaborating closely with international teams across Product, AI, and Infrastructure.

What You’ll Do:
The Staff Software Engineer will play a key role in the architecture, design, and development of next-generation AI-driven systems and platforms. This high-visibility position combines hands-on technical expertise with strategic leadership, contributing directly to product innovation, scalability, and global technology direction. The role also involves mentoring local engineers in Hyderabad and collaborating closely with international teams across Product, AI, and Infrastructure.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Drive Product and Platform Innovation
- Architect and develop large-scale, distributed services and APIs to power next-generation AI capabilities.
- Define and implement technical strategy, designing systems for scalability, performance, and reliability across multi-region deployments.
- Collaborate with global engineering, product, and infrastructure teams to deliver cutting-edge, AI-driven platform solutions.
- Lead with Technical Excellence
- Serve as a hands-on technical leader, writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and establish engineering best practices to ensure consistency and technical quality.
- Diagnose and resolve complex production challenges, driving performance optimization and root cause analysis.
- Mentor and Influence
- Provide technical mentorship to engineers locally and globally, promoting innovation and continuous learning.
- Guide teams through architectural decision-making, scalability patterns, and modern software design principles.
- Act as a trusted advisor in product roadmap planning and long-term technical strategy discussions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years designing and maintaining scalable backend systems using C#/.NET and microservices architecture.
- Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL data stores.
- Solid hands-on knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Proven ability to design for performance, reliability, and security in data-intensive systems.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional environment.
Experience developing AI-driven products or high-growth platforms.
Familiarity with event-driven architectures, streaming technologies (Kafka, Pub/Sub), and DevOps/SRE practices.
Contributions to open-source projects, technical blogs, or community speaking engagements.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
