XDLINX Space Labs, an Indian space tech company, raised $7 million in seed funding to enhance its satellite platform development. The company, known for launching over 400 satellites in past missions, plans to use this investment to speed up the production of payload technologies and expand its global reach, focusing on both commercial and defense space missions.
The seed funding will primarily support the rapid production of advanced payloads for various missions, incorporating state-of-the-art technologies like E-band communications capabilities. It will also help in operationalizing satellite bus platforms and assist the company in boosting its global collaborations. XDLINX’s upcoming major project, Elevation-1, will feature what the company describes as a first of its kind miniaturized space-grade E-band payload. It’s scheduled to launch with SpaceX’s Transporter-12 mission.
XDLINX Space Labs specializes in ready-to-launch satellite platforms and payload innovation that supports space exploration for commercial and defense applications. The company says it aims to make space more accessible through development of cost-effective satellite systems.
