Digital product engineering company GlobalLogic recently opened a Hyderabad delivery center that’s expected to drive job growth in Telangana. Part of the Hitachi Group, GlobalLogic has been working to boost its Asia-Pacific presence. The new Hyderabad office is the fourth center launched in the last nine months as part of the company’s expansion plans.

The new facility encompasses 38,000 square feet and will start out serving as home base for 600 GlobalLogic engineers, according to a statement from the company. The company expects its Hyderabad delivery center workforce to reach more than 2,000 engineers in three years.

“We are excited about leveraging Hyderabad city’s strengths to enhance our engineering capabilities across various sectors. The new center will enable us to expand our team, allowing us to meet the increasing demands of our global clients while solidifying Hyderabad’s role in our Global Capability Centre (GCC) strategy,” Piyush Jha, managing director and head of APAC at GlobalLogic, said in the statement.

As GlobalLogic hires new team members to support its growing Hyderabad operations, Jha noted recruiting will focus on attracting talent with knowledge and skills across areas like software engineering, data analytics and generative AI.
