Evergent Technologies, an American provider of solutions for media, entertainment, telecom, and digital consumer businesses, has officially opened its global value center in Hyderabad. It plans to hire at least 400 more employees by year end to support its operations in the city.
Since its soft opening, Evergent has already onboarded over 600 engineering and AI employees to its Hyderabad hub. According to reporting by The Times of India, the center is expected to contribute $1 trillion to the country’s economy over the next decade.
IT Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu told The Times of India that to achieve this, the company must shift from volume-led to value-led growth by building strengths in areas like AI, semiconductors and deep tech.
Evergent CEO Vijay Sajja said in a statement that Hyderabad has been key to the company’s success.
