Job Description:

Role Overview:

We are seeking an exceptional Technical Team Lead to join our Microsoft Biz Apps, AI Transformation practice, who is passionate about technology, self-driven learning, and building high-performing teams. This role is foundational to our India-based delivery model and has potential to evolve into a Practice or Domain Lead position.

You will build and lead our next wave of talent— techno-functional consultants who don’t just execute, but shape solutions, handle ambiguity, and engage clients directly. You’ll scale a team that can lead end-to-end delivery from India across Microsoft Business Applications (primarily D365 Finance & Operations and Customer Engagement), the Power Platform, and Azure—with working fluency in AI/automation where it accelerates outcomes. Think capability builder first, individual contributor second: you’ll set standards, hire and grow talent, and partner with US-based Client Leads/Architects to expand the scope and complexity of India-led work.

This isn’t a traditional management role. We are looking for a hands-on, tech-forward leader —someone who leads by example in continuously evolving their technical capabilities and inspires others to do the same. Think capability builder first, individual contributor second: you’ll set standards, hire and grow talent, and partner with US-based Client Leads/Architects to expand the scope and complexity of India-led work in the areas of techno-functional client delivery, AI, automation, and modern business applications. This role is foundational to our India-based delivery model and has potential to evolve into a Practice or Domain Lead position.

Key Responsibilities:

Capability & Delivery Leadership:

  • Own delivery outcomes for India-led/pod-based teams across D365 integrations/extensions (primarily FnO and CE), Power Platform, CoPilot, pro code tooling and adjacent Azure services.

  • Model technical excellence through continuous, self-driven learning—especially across Microsoft’s evolving platforms.

  • Lead the team in adopting analytics, automation, and scalable application architectures.

  • Push boundaries on the type and complexity of work India-based teams can lead and deliver.

  • Convert half-baked requirements into clear plans; keep teams moving with sound assumptions and tight feedback loops.

  • Raise the ceiling on what’s delivered from India: push for techno-functional ownership, client workshops, and co-leading engagements

Build & Elevate Talent:

  • Identify and grow raw talent with strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.

  • Hire for learning agility, problem solving, and communication—not just tool keywords.

  • Develop capability leaders who multiply expertise across the team (cross-training, resiliency, repeatable assets).

  • Establish clear development paths, training plans, and ongoing feedback mechanisms to elevate team performance.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, excellence, and constructive feedback; set crisp quality bars and “definition of done.”

Client-Centric Thinking:

  • Promote a business-outcome mindset—ensuring teams focus on solving real client problems, not just executing tasks.

  • Collaborate with global team members to refine Crowe’s delivery approach, tools, and methodologies.

  • Expand the types of engagements India-based teams can lead or co-lead, especially in innovation and transformation efforts.

AI Transformation for Clients (External):

  • Lead solutioning & tool selection on Microsoft (Copilot for D365/Power Platform, Azure OpenAI/ML, Cognitive Search/Fabric, etc.) and integrate with Biz Apps.

  • Define repeatable patterns (RAG/grounding, function calling, evaluation/telemetry) with security, compliance, and cost controls; take POCs to production.

  • Co-lead client workshops and delivery; set acceptance criteria tied to business outcomes and enable client teams with playbooks.

AI Enablement for Delivery Excellence (Internal):

  • Champion ChatGPT Enterprise: build internal GPTs/workflows for solutioning, estimates, test/data generation, code/documentation, and knowledge retrieval.

  • Operationalize AI in the SDLC and maintain a governed prompt/asset library

  • Measure and scale adoption (hours saved, cycle time, defect leakage, proposal throughput); run training/champions program and optimize usage/cost.

Qualifications:

Mandatory

  • 10+ years in the Microsoft stack with deep delivery leadership in D365 Biz Apps (FO/AX and CRM/CE) plus hands-on experience across Power Platform and Azure (Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus, ADO, etc.).

  • Strong architecture/solutioning skills (extensions, integrations, data migration, performance, security/compliance).

  • Proven track record of continuous learning and adapting to rapidly evolving technologies.

  • Proven record leading offshore/nearshore teams to own complex workstreams, not just execute tasks; direct client-facing experience is a must

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to coach and influence at all levels.

Preferred

  • Experience building capability pods/CoEs; track record of hiring, coaching, and succession planning.

  • Practical exposure to Copilot for D365/Power Platform or Azure OpenAI in enterprise scenarios.

  • Manufacturing Industry/domain depth

  • Certifications: MB-300/MB-500, PL-200/PL-400, AZ-204/AZ-305 (or equivalent experience)
