Job Description:
Position Summary:
We are seeking an analytically driven, technology-focused analyst to support the Unclaimed Property and State & Local Tax Consulting practice. This role will focus on leveraging technology to streamline compliance processes, reduce human error, and deliver more efficient solutions. The analyst will work closely with U.S. team members to implement automation and reporting solutions across compliance and consulting workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support compliance and consulting processes by developing automated workflows in Alteryx to reduce manual effort and errors.
- Build and manage data models, dashboards, and reporting solutions in Power BI and Microsoft Power Apps.
- Perform advanced data analysis and automation using SQL and Python.
- Work with large relational databases, ensuring data integrity and accuracy for compliance reporting.
- Partner with U.S. counterparts to identify process pain points and deliver sustainable technology-enabled solutions.
- Document solutions, provide training to team members, and maintain ongoing enhancements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Alteryx Core Certified
- Strong proficiency in: SQL and coding (Python), Database management and integration, Microsoft Office Suite + Microsoft Power Apps, including Power Platform, Power BI.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work with global, cross-border teams.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Knowledge of U.S. unclaimed property or state/local tax compliance.
- Familiarity with process automation and risk management frameworks.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, or Accounting/Finance with strong tech skills.
- 2–4 years of experience in data analytics, compliance technology, or tax technology transformation.
- Relevant certifications in Alteryx, SQL or Power Apps preferred.
