We’re looking for a Principal Quality Architect to bring experience to the Quality Engineering Consulting capability, partner across the different groups in our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of software development methodologies, quality assurance practices, and a proven track record of building and leading high-performing quality engineering teams.
This role will be responsible for providing consulting, establishing a culture of quality excellence across customer software development processes, ensuring the delivery of high-quality quality best practices and shape delivery of our world-renowned Quality Platform to our customers..
You will be part of a team of passionate technologists who constantly practice and refine the modern craft of quality engineering by staying ahead of innovation and emerging testing techniques with our quality platform. You will play an integral and crucial role for the quality engineering community and vision of our platform.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead teams across multiple work streams on complex initiatives and programs
- Impact business development through sales pursuits and market partnerships
- Collaborate with Product owners and Software Engineering leaders to scale team delivery for our platform
- Advise and educate other capabilities on industry approaches to software quality
- Drive the evolution of test automation and quality engineering for our organization
- Create and execute a hiring strategy to reflect the continued growth of our organization
- Drive the career development growth and performance evaluation for quality engineers within the organization
- Travel may be required when delivering services
- Demonstrated understanding of current and emerging Test methodologies and principles;
- Demonstrated experience of people leadership, coaching and mentoring of team members;
- 5+ years of prior hands-on experience using automation frameworks and tools such as Katalon, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright and Appium;
- Experience with modern ecosystems and automated build/deployment pipelines (Jenkins, Github, Azure Pipelines, etc);
- Ability to manage and effectively multitask across a wide range of assignments and issues;
- Demonstrated mindset of continuous learning;
- Good command of English communication and presentation skills;
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/ Software Engineering or equivalent.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in modern technology solutioning, consulting, and project delivery;
- Experience with cloud providers such as Kobiton, BrowserStack, and Saucelabs;
- Experience with cloud environments, such as AWS, Azure, and GCP;
- Knowledge of Data Engineering applications, data platforms, data visualization, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
