Job Description

The Corporate Linkage team is responsible for discovery, curation, and synthesis of corporate hierarchies / linkage relationships, including innovation activities to explore additional opportunities in the context of business-to-business relationships and corporate structures. We partner closely with customers and customer-facing teams on specific dissatisfiers to understand context for future improvements. 

This position is responsible for developing and maintaining processes used to improve our corporate linkage data assets. This position will be responsible for data collection and integration, including ingestion, formatting, and cleansing, supporting team with data enrichment requests through queries and data appends, and developing and maintaining scripts for web-scraping. This position is also responsible for creating reports to monitor and audit our data and provide insights to support the team leader and other team members. Minimum skills require programming ability, SQL construction, big data experience and familiarity with analytic and statistical methods.

Function efficiently on a team of fast paced data and technical experts

Provides expertise and technical support to internal and external clients.

Create & manage data ingestion & extraction, including web data collection via python, API integrations, batch file deliveries among others.

Lead the business decision-making by retrieving & aggregating datasets from multiple sources into actionable formats and tools

Experience in various methods of data ingestion and collection preferred, areas such as web data collection, ftp and other file delivery channels

Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science field, Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics or similar preferred

2+ years of experience within a similar position

Strong Python and SQL is a minimum requirement, experience with using these languages to evaluate data quality, accuracy & completeness preferred. Linux coding a plus

Microsoft Office knowledge, Understanding of FTP and data transfer/importation methods helpful

Passionate and curious about data with the ability to query and analyze datasets, in-order to drive, fact- based decisions, identify opportunities, and communicate to stakeholders.
