AVD Cloud Engineer

What success looks like in this role:

Experience on Azure virtual desktop environment Design, Implementation and configuration.
Proficient in AVD Cloud migration Strategy, Solution and Deployments
Excellent hands-on Knowledge on Windows, VMWare and Azure Cloud Services

Azure ARM Templates/Terraform/ Cloud Formation Templates
Managing AVD Environment, Manage Azure Active Directory for Azure Virtual Desktop related systems.
Knowledge of Cloud security controls including tenant isolation, encryption, key management, vulnerability assessments, application firewalls, SIEM, etc.

In-depth knowledge and experience on Windows server operating systems (All Versions) management and administration.
High-level trouble shooting skill required on OS related issues, which include memory dump analysis skills and performance tuning.
Good knowledge on Microsoft clustering and NLB services.
Working experience on Windows infrastructure services like FTP, Telnet, DNS and DHCP etc.
Configuration and troubleshooting of HA & DRS.

Experience on planning, deploying and maintain VMware vSphere environments.
Experience in consolidation and upgrade.
VM deployment skills form Templates and OVA/OVF.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Science and a minimum of 5 years of related experience or related degree or equivalent work experience •

Proficient in AVD Cloud migration Strategy, Solution and Deployments
In depth experience on FXlogix Policies and Management
Good experience on Session desktop and Remote App Host pools, scaling, Policies, Network etc.,
In Depth Knowledge on Azure Active Directory
Experienced in working with any configuration management tools Ansible/Puppet

Installing and maintaining Server Operating Systems (Windows 2012R2 / 2016 / 2019/ 2022)
Management of Security and Anti-Virus patches and Patch Updates through various Consoles with Automation

Managing User Accounts, Groups & Rights, Account, Security and Group Policy in Active Directory
Good knowledge on storage and networking which help to design server.
Good control on windows command line tools, power shell and Python.

In-depth experience on VMware ESX and ESXi hypervisors installation and administration.
In depth troubleshooting skills in VCenter, ESX and ESXi hosts, Networking and storage.
Capacity planning skill for virtual hosts and VMs.
 

Specific technical skill requirements include proficiency in demonstrating/performing one or more skills in each technical skill group.
