As a Software Engineering - Developer at Kyndryl, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge software solutions. Your work will play a critical role in our business offering, your code will deliver value to our customers faster than ever before, and your attention to detail and commitment to quality will be critical in ensuring the success of our products.
Using design documentation and functional programming specifications, you will be responsible for implementing identified components. You will ensure that implemented components are appropriately documented, unit-tested, and ready for integration into the final product. You will have the opportunity to architect the solution, test the code, and deploy and build a CI/CD pipeline for it.
As a valued member of our team, you will provide work estimates for assigned development work, and guide features, functional objectives, or technologies being built for interested parties. Your contributions will have a significant impact on our products' success, and you will be part of a team that is passionate about innovation, creativity, and excellence. Required Technical and Professional Experience

• Overall 10+ years of relevant IT experience, with minimum 5 years of experience in area of Application Design, Development & Modernization

• Should have end to end working experience in application development across cloud native environments.

• Good understanding and experience of cloud native application design principles (like micro-services, stateless application meant for cloud, containers, 12 factor app principles etc.)

• Familiarity with tools such as New Relic, Splunk

• Must have executed large app modernization and cloud native architecting programs (at least 2 programs)

• Java, Java JSP, JEE API, 12 Factor Application Design, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring MVC, Spring Integration, Spring Data,

• Package Manager – Maven / Gradle

• Design and deployment of DB framework and Logical Data Modals

• Kubernetes, OpenShift, Cloud experience (AWS/Azure/Google/IBM)

• Experience in deployment of applications to various middleware components

• Must have strong exp in DevOps framework.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Microservice, Containerization, SOAP, Domain driven design concept

• MS SQL, Redis, Dynamo,

• MongoDB, PostgreSQL, NoSQL DB, MySQL, Oracle

• Python, NodeJs , JPA, Quarkus, Hibernate

• Cloud API Gateways and API management, Go, Scala

• Web Application Server - Tomcat, Jboss , Open Liberty, Apache Kafka, Apache Tomcat, Nginx, EAP, Jetty, Oracle WebLogic, NodeJS, RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka,

• JIRA, Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, GIT, NEXUS,

•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
•Certification in one or more of the hyperscalers (Azure, AWS, and Google GCP) - otherwise, you can obtain certifications with Kyndryl
•Experience with DevOps tools and modern engineering practices
