JOB DESCRIPTION:
Primary Job Function:
- Main lead in charge of EPD APAC cash flow management (balance sheet, cash flow) by running accurate reporting and RLBE/annual planning process, best practice sharing, accurate financial forecast, timely risk analysis, scenarios, and contingency plans to meet the area’s financial targets.
- Partner with Regional Finance Director APAC and key stakeholders on strategic projects such as: L&A deals, business structure, divestments, supporting the key transformational projects across EPD.
- Partner with Regional Finance Director APAC / APAC DVP and APAC Region GMs/key function heads to analyse the full financial impact of strategic and tactical initiatives and provide analytical insights on top and bottom-line growth and trend lines, analyse variances vs. various financial benchmarks.
- Responsible for managing and coordinating finance projects and initiatives across APAC.
- Provide Analytics to support Business Discussions with different stakeholders and SLT.
- Set up ROI and Measurement metrics for activities.
- Project Management and follow ups.
- Create Dashboard to better understand and drive the business.
- Lead financial modelling of Commercial projects in the region, those led by Commercial Excellence, Market Access, Marketing or any other support function.
- Support and involve in Go to Market, Cost to Serve Initiatives with APAC HQ commercial functions for key markets
- Set up and manage reviews with stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of projects.
Core Job Responsibilities:
- Exercise proper controllership responsibilities, including revenue recognition, channel inventory, AR/Aging and balance sheet reviews, affiliate DSO/DOH/cash flow control and improvement, management of returns, obsolescence, reserves and accruals.
- Assess and challenge all departmental processes with an eye towards innovation and operational excellence.
- Consults with key stakeholders to develop project requirements; tracks performance to project plans and executes on final project delivery.
- Lead role in project management of all finance projects across the APAC enabling efficient and structured execution of the projects.
- Develops and identifies “Best Practices” and ensure adoption across APAC.
- Establishes understanding, buy-in and commitment to finance strategy across regional and local organization to successfully drive and lead the projects.
- Initiates and leads globally launched finance projects & initiatives.
- Support Go to Market exercises and Commercial Projects led by Commercial Excellence , Strategy, Marketing, Operations and Market Access Departments
- Driving analysis about efficiency and performance of commercial organization in APAC.
- Support commercial teams and provide alignment with HQ Support functions in Quarterly Sales Targeting processes.
- Modelling and analysis of tender scenarios and co-ordinate with Market Access & Finance Teams.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in finance, Business Admiration, accounting or equivalent. A MBA from a reputed instituted would be preferred5-10 years of experience required in highly competitive and fast-moving environment. Prior experience in emerging markets is a plus
- Relevant experience at the affiliate or regional level in managerial positions
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with EPD is a plus
